Quranic Arabic is built on the principle that your data belongs to you. We collect the minimum necessary to provide a great learning experience — nothing more.
What we collect
We collect your email address when you register an account. We store your learning progress (streak, vocabulary seen, quiz history, SRS card data) to power your personalised experience. If you subscribe, Stripe handles all payment processing — we never see your card details.
How we use your data
Your data is used solely to provide and improve the Quranic Arabic learning service. We do not sell, share, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We do not serve advertising of any kind.
Data storage and security
Your account data is stored in Supabase (EU-West region, Frankfurt). Payment data is processed and stored by Stripe. Progress data syncs to your account and is also cached locally in your browser. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or permanent deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@quranic-arabic.app. We will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie for authentication (Supabase auth token). We also store your dark mode preference and dismissed-prompt flags in localStorage. We do not use tracking, advertising, or third-party analytics cookies.
Third-party services
We use Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), and Vercel (hosting). Each has its own privacy policy. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising SDK.
Children
This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. We will notify registered users by email if we make material changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
